The Megawatt Hour- Energy Management – Energy Information

The NY Times Business Section ran a special series on Energy & Environment on April 10.  There were a number of interesting articles.  I am re-posting two of them here, one talks about efficiency benefits and improvements at retailers across the US, while the other reports on significant changes in the energy supply picture in the US.  It is amazing that both articles appear in the same section.  In a business environment in which natural gas is at all time lows, businesses continue to invest in energy efficiency and renewable energy, because it makes good business sense.

Businesses often ask us what we think will happen with prices, supply, or even efficiency measures.  We attempt to remain at arms length, and report on what we see.   You have to make the best decisions you can with the information available to you.  We try to make that information more accessible, and more actionable than ever before.  Take a look at these articles, let us know what you think.

Fuel to Burn: Now What? talks about North America’s new-found energy resources, and Meccas of Shopping Try Hand at Being Misers of Energy talks about efficiency improvements at retailers across the United States.
