“Retail is details.”*
That is a true-ism when it comes to buying power and gas in deregulated markets. Last week we talked about the language of energy — and how inscrutable the language of energy can be. This week we transition to the pragmatic and detail-oriented process of preparing for, executing and ensuring a thorough and complete procurement process. The details are important to both the supplier and the customer.
The Megawatt Hour has developed a detailed checklist that is meant to assist our clients, both customers and consultants/advisers, through a successful purchasing process.
Here’s a sneak peak at the checklist (one for customers and one for consultants/advisers):
If you are interested in receiving a copy of the checklist for customers, click here and/or for consultants/advisers, click here.
Bottomline for clients: A little bit of preparation goes a long way.
